About Daulat Visuals

Daulat Visuals is a professional wedding and live event videography company based in Rochester, NY, serving couples and clients across Buffalo, Rochester, and Syracuse, New York. By booking our services or using this website, you agree to the policies and terms outlined on this page.

1. Booking & Payment

A 50% non-refundable deposit is required to confirm and reserve your event date. Your date is not secured until the deposit has been received and a signed contract is on file. The remaining balance is due on the day of the event, prior to filming commencing.

We accept payments via cash, check, or online transfer. Online payments incur a processing fee of 3.3% + $0.30 per transaction.

2. Non-Refundable Deposit Policy

The deposit paid at the time of booking is strictly non-refundable under any and all circumstances. By submitting a deposit, the client acknowledges that Daulat Visuals has reserved the event date exclusively for them, turning down other potential bookings. For this reason, no refunds will be issued regardless of cancellation, rescheduling, or any other reason.

If Daulat Visuals must cancel due to an unforeseen emergency, the client will receive a full refund of all amounts paid.

3. Cancellation & Rescheduling

Cancellations made within 30 days of the event date result in forfeiture of the deposit in full. If a client wishes to reschedule, Daulat Visuals will make every reasonable effort to accommodate a new date subject to availability. The deposit remains non-refundable but may be applied toward the rescheduled event if agreed upon in writing.

4. Travel & Mileage

Travel within 20 miles of our studio located in Rochester, NY is included at no additional charge. For locations beyond 20 miles, a mileage fee of $2.50 per mile will be applied to the invoice.

5. Raw Footage

Raw footage is available as an add-on in two formats:

• Digital Delivery — $150: All raw, unedited footage delivered via secure online transfer. This is the fastest and most convenient option.

• Hard Drive Delivery — $300: All raw, unedited footage transferred onto a physical hard drive and shipped directly to the client. This fee reflects the labor involved in organizing, labeling, transferring, inspecting, packaging, and shipping your files.

6. Download Window & Storage Policy

Once your footage or edited video has been delivered digitally, clients have 30 days to download their content. We strongly encourage all clients to download and back up their files immediately upon delivery.

After 30 days, files will be removed from our servers to protect storage space for other clients. Daulat Visuals is not responsible for any loss of content after the 30-day window has expired.

Re-Upload Fee — $150: If a client requires their files to be re-uploaded after the 30-day window, a $150 re-upload fee applies for one additional month of access.

7. Edited Video — Private Use Only

All edited videos produced by Daulat Visuals are intended exclusively for the client's personal and private use. The edited video is meant to be treasured, shared with loved ones, and kept as a personal keepsake of your special day.

Commercial use, monetization, and broadcasting of the edited video are strictly prohibited. Clients may not sell, license, broadcast, televise, publish, or use the edited video for any revenue-generating purpose — including but not limited to television, advertisements, YouTube monetization, streaming platforms, or commercial media — without prior written consent from Daulat Visuals.

Daulat Visuals retains full creative rights to all edited content produced. Unauthorized commercial use of any edited video may constitute copyright infringement and could expose the client to legal liability.

8. Intellectual Property

All footage, videos, and edited content produced by Daulat Visuals remain the intellectual property of Daulat Visuals until full payment has been received. Upon receipt of final payment, the client is granted a personal, non-commercial license to use and share the final edited video.

Daulat Visuals reserves the right to use footage and edited content for portfolio, promotional, and marketing purposes — including social media, the website, and advertising — unless the client requests in writing prior to the event that their footage not be used publicly. We will always respect that request.

9. Service Assurance & Liability

Daulat Visuals will make every professional effort to deliver cinematic, high-quality footage on every event. However, we cannot be held liable for circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to technical equipment failures, venue restrictions, adverse weather conditions, or other environmental factors that may affect footage quality.

In the rare event of a technical issue, Daulat Visuals will make every reasonable effort to remedy the situation as quickly as possible. Our commitment is to your memories — we take that seriously on every single shoot.

10. Website Terms of Use

By accessing and using this website (rochesternyvideoproduction.com), you agree to the following:

• You are at least 18 years of age.

• You will not use this website for any unlawful or unauthorized purpose.

• You will not attempt to access, copy, reproduce, or distribute any content from this website without prior written permission from Daulat Visuals.

• All content on this website — including text, images, videos, and graphics — is the property of Daulat Visuals and is protected by copyright law.

• We reserve the right to update, modify, or remove content from this website at any time without notice.

• We are not responsible for any damages resulting from your use of or inability to access this website.

11. Privacy

Any personal information collected through this website or through the booking process (name, email, phone number, event details) is used solely to communicate with you and fulfill your booking. We do not sell, share, or distribute your personal information to any third parties.

12. Changes to This Policy

Daulat Visuals reserves the right to update these policies at any time. Any changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date at the top. Your continued use of our services or this website following any updates constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.
